Basketball Overview

Christian Youth Basketball League, CYBL Overview

• Sign ups open in October

• Teams must have between 7 and 10 players

• Players can “play up” with Coach approval

• Games mostly around Downtown Columbia

• Practices at SJN Gym

• CYBL Rulebook

Practices

• Start the first week of November

• 1 hour, Once a week

• SJN Gym

Games

• Teams will play on Saturday

• Matches will be held at various locations around the state

• Start with sermon from CYBL staff

Fees

• Season Cost: $60 league fee + $25 Jersey if needed

Equipment

• 2nd - 3rd Grade, Boys and Girls: 

  • Ball Size 5 Hoop height 8 feet

• 4th and 5th Grade, Boys and Girls: 

  • Ball Size 6 Hoop height 9 feet

• 6th grade and above, Girls: 

  • Ball Size 6, Hoop height 10 feet

• 5th and above, Boys: 

  • Ball Size 7, Hoop Height 10 feet
